Towards Sustainable Peace in Conflict-Torn Societies

Organizations from Armenia and around the world were invited to showcase their work at Innovate Armenia - the festival of ideas and action that took place at the University of Southern California on May 18, 2019.

The IMAGINE Center for Conflict Transformation a non-political organization dedicated to laying the foundations for sustainable peace in conflict-torn societies, presented its work dedicated to solving the Karabakh conflict.

Philip Gamaghelyan, co-founder and director of the IMAGINE Center, talked about the necessity of civil society’s commitment to the peace building process.

Innovate Armenia is organized by the USC Institute of Armenian Studies. The program featured fifty participants, from six countries, and nearly 4,000 attendees. This is the fourth time in five years that this unique event has been staged by the Institute.
