No Azerbaijani checkpoint to be set up on Armenia-Karabakh route, says Stepanakert

  • A possible meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, or of the two countries’ foreign ministers, may take place before the end of the year, according to both Armenian and Azerbaijani officials.
  • A draft decision to provide assistance to Armenia should be signed, said Stanislav Zas, the head of the CSTO, a Russian-led military alliance.
  • Karabakh’s National Security Service denied earlier reports that an Azerbaijani checkpoint would be set up on the only route linking Karabakh and Armenia.
