Azerbaijan sets up posts 300 meters into Armenian territory, alarming local residents

Armenia’s National Security Service reported yesterday that Azerbaijani forces had advanced 100-300 meters into Armenia’s sovereign territory near the village of Aravus in Armenia’s southernmost Syunik region. That came after agreements reached last August to change the route of the Lachin corridor, which connects Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. CivilNet’s Syunik team traveled to Aravus to speak to local residents about the situation.
